Ms. Lekshmi Prasad, Student Counsellor has 5 years of teaching and counselling experience. She received her B.A. (Psychology) and M.A. (Psychology) degree from University of Kerala. She received her PG Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from NCERT, Delhi.
She got University First rank in B.A. Psychology and Third rank in M.A. Psychology from University of Kerala. She had First Class with Distinction for PG Diploma in Guidance and Counselling. She has served Lady Doak College, Madurai as a lecturer in the Department of Social Sciences.
Role of a Counsellor is to empower individuals to handle their life in a most effective and efficient manner. In order to achieve this objective, in addition to regular counselling sessions, she organizes Personality Development programmes for students and faculty members of SSN. She is the faculty advisor for Youth Red Cross Unit of SSN. She is actively involved with all student related activities of SSN.
She holds life membership with International Association for Holistic Psychology. |
