The Trust SSN Trust was founded in 1994 by Dr. Shiv Nadar and his elder brother (Late) Justice Pratap Singh, a Judge of the Madras High Court. The Trust has established the SSN Institutions, comprising SSN College of Engineering (SSN CE), The SSN School of Management & Computer Applications (SSN SoMCA)and The SSN Research Centre. The institutions are run on a not-for-profit basis, and aim to provide the highest quality educational and research facilities for meritorious students belonging to all economic strata.

Srinivasan - Chairman, SSN Institutions (Director & CEO - Redington Ltd, Global Management and Business Leader) 3. Ms. Roshni Nadar Malhotra- Trustee, SSN Trust 4. Prof. R. Natrajan - Former Director IIT Madras, Former Chairman AICTE 5. Mr. T.S. Krishnamurthy - Former Chief Election Commissioner, Government of India 6. Mr. P. Sivaprasad - Advocate, High Court Chennai 7. Ms. Kala Vijaykumar , President, SSN Institutions The administrative and professional competence of these members constitutes a valuable source of strength for the accomplishment of the Institutions' goals.
